Thom Hogan reviews the Nikon V1 at his website, http://www.sansmirror.com.

He writes:

What is it?
"The Nikon V1 is the "high end" model to the Nikon 1 lineup. The words "high end" are in quotes mostly because "high" is relative to the J1, not necessarily to mirrorless cameras in general."

Overall the view is positive but the product is still very "version 1.0" (Thom's statement) and not without significant handling flaws and a price that does not match the product.
